At JKL Care Services, we specialise in delivering high-quality, compassionate care directly to your door—support that fits around your lifestyle, promotes independence, and respects your personal choices.

As a family-run business, we take pride in the personal touch we bring to every relationship. All our care staff are recruited, trained, and employed directly by JKL—you will never be supported by outside agency staff. This ensures a consistent, trustworthy service from people who share our values and our commitment to excellent care.

Our Care at Home services are fully tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.

We take the time to build a care plan that reflects your preferences, goals, and routines—whether that includes personal care, medication support, meal preparation, companionship, help with mobility, or assistance with household tasks.

Helps maintain a healthy sleep routine and provides physical support to reduce the risk of falls.

Promotes hygiene, comfort, and self-confidence while ensuring safety and dignity.

👗 Help with Dressing and Undressing

Ensures appropriate, weather-suitable clothing and boosts self-esteem through appearance and routine.

🚽 Toileting and Incontinence Support

Protects dignity, prevents infections, and ensures a clean, comfortable environment.

🍽️ Meal Preparation and Support with Eating

Encourages nutrition and hydration, supports independence, and makes mealtimes more enjoyable.

💊 Medication Reminders and Administration

Ensures important medications are taken safely and on time, improving health outcomes and peace of mind.

💷 JKL Care Services – Cost Breakdown & Funding Options

At JKL Care Services, we aim to make accessing care as simple and transparent as possible. There are three main ways to fund your care with us:

🏢 1. Local Authority Commissioned Care

If you or a loved one needs support, the first step is to contact your local social work department. They will carry out an assessment of your needs to determine what level of care and support is appropriate.

If approved, the local authority may commission JKL Care Services directly to deliver this care. That means we are contacted by social work, and we take it from there—organising support that matches your assessed needs. You do not pay us directly under this arrangement.

🔄 2. Self-Directed Support (SDS) Budget – Scotland

Self-Directed Support (SDS) gives you more choice and control over how your care is arranged and delivered. After a social work assessment, you can choose to receive your care budget directly and decide:

Who provides your care
What type of care and support you receive
When it is delivered

If you choose JKL under SDS, you’ll need to:
✅ Request an SDS budget from social work
✅ Get the funding approved
✅ Contact us to set up your personalised care plan

We’ll work closely with you to make sure the support fits your needs, routine, and preferences.

🤝 3. Private Agreements

You can also arrange care with JKL independently of the council. Whether you:

Want to top up existing care (e.g. for more hours or extra visits)
Need short-term support
Are arranging care while waiting on SDS approval
Simply prefer to organise support yourself
