🌿 Our Story – The Heart Behind JKL Care Services
JKL Care Services began with a simple but powerful mission: to provide truly personal, passionate, and proud care to those who need it most. Founded by three experienced care professionals with over 25 years of combined experience, JKL began its journey in 2019 by supporting individuals whose services had been suddenly withdrawn by other providers.
Seeing a real need in our communities, JKL became a registered care provider in October 2019, proudly partnering with South Lanarkshire Council to deliver care at home services. In 2020, we expanded our commitment by becoming a contractor with North Lanarkshire Council, furthering our reach and ability to support vulnerable adults across both regions.
From the very beginning, we’ve stood firmly by our founding principles—to offer high-quality, personalised care, provide a positive and supportive working environment for our colleagues, and deliver a professional, responsive service that adapts to every individual’s needs, concerns, and changes in circumstance.

Personalised Approach – As a family-run business, we believe in personal connections. Our directors personally meet with every new service user and their family to ensure a warm, trusting relationship from the very beginning.

Consistency and Trust – All our team members are recruited, trained, and employed by JKL—you will never receive care from an unknown or agency staff member. Even the most experienced staff are formally inducted into each new service, so you’ll never have a stranger at your door.

JKL Care Service received a 5 star rating this year in our inspection. This is due to the hard work and dedication put in by everyone within JKL. The grade is a reflection of the person centred care and support we provide to every individual.
JKL also received an excellent health and safety inspection from citation with no recommendations. The safety of our colleagues and service users is something we take very seriously and this is a reflection of the hard work and dedication we put into making sure every service is a safe working environment for all.
